2. What data we process and why
Bookings and enquiries
When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, we process the data you give us: name, phone number, e-mail address, dates of stay, number of guests and the content of your message. We use it to reply and to handle your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps prior to and performance of a contract).
Your stay
On arrival we ask for the data required by Romanian guest-registration law and the data needed for invoicing (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligation).
Visiting the website
The website has no forms, user accounts, traffic analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs technical data such as IP address, browser type and time, for security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest).
Map
The map in the “Location” section is provided by OpenStreetMap. When it loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap Foundation servers, which receive your IP address. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
If you message us on WhatsApp, messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under the WhatsApp privacy policy.
3. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as needed for the booking and the stay, and accounting and guest-registration records for the period required by law.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell or rent your data. It may only reach the providers that help us operate (website hosting – Cloudflare, e-mail, WhatsApp) and public authorities when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the European Union (for example in the USA) with the safeguards required by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. To exercise them, write to office@complexgrand.ro; we reply within one month.
You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP): www.dataprotection.ro.
6. Cookies
The website does not use cookies or any other tracking technology (analytics, advertising, social media). Fonts are hosted on our own server. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent.
The OpenStreetMap map is an external service; any technical cookies it may use are described in the OpenStreetMap Foundation policy.
7. Dispute resolution
You can contact us directly with any complaint. You may also use the alternative dispute resolution (SAL) procedure of the Romanian consumer authority ANPC: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the version in force is always the one on this page, with the date of the last update above.
